EASYdemp Marine is specifically designed as a self-adhesive soundproofing tile. Despite its lightweight, this tile provides an impressive reduction in structural noise. Developed for use in thicker constructions up to 6 mm, this tile can be adjusted if necessary for even thicker constructions. Additionally, it is also highly suitable for applications in yacht building and maritime industries.

IMO certificate
The EASYdemp Marine self-adhesive vibration damping sheets meet the requirements for low flame spread according to IMO/MED. Therefore, the material is excellently suited for reducing vibrations in yachts and ships, where safety and fire resistance are crucial.
Dimensions
EASYdemp Marine comes with a self-adhesive backing for quick and easy installation, specifically designed for use on steel. The standard size of the sheets is 290 x 195 x 4.9 mm, making them suitable for various applications in the shipbuilding and yacht industry.
Specifications
This multilayered tile provides excellent damping of structural noise at a low weight. It is specially designed to effectively reduce vibrations in steel surfaces. The core of the material consists of a combination of a honeycomb structure attached to a viscoelastic layer, finished with a thin steel top layer.
Steel
EASYdemp Marine Steel (390 grams) must cover at least 80% of the surface area to significantly reduce vibrations. This means that approximately 14 tiles per square meter are needed, equivalent to about 5.5 kg per square meter.
Processing
The surface must be flat, dry, and free from dust and grease. After removing the protective film from the adhesive layer, the tile can be firmly pressed onto the surface. To prevent air pockets, the tile should initially make contact with the surface on one side, after which the entire tile can be pressed down. Then, smooth the tile out from the center towards the edges of the surface. Once applied, the tile should not be loosened or repositioned.
To guarantee the performance of the adhesive layer, you should apply our self‑adhesive products within six months of purchase.
